Arwel Treharne Morgan  won a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music, where he won major awards for both piano and voice. A further scholarship from the Arts Council enabled him to study in  the US and  at the Banff International centre in Canada, thus enabling  an exciting and varied career.  He has performed at prestigious venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, and New York’s Lincoln Center, and has frequently appeared on BBC Radio 3 as both a pianist and singer.His operatic roles include Ernesto (Don Pasquale ) Pylades (Iphigénie en Tauride), Count Almaviva (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), and Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), with performances worldwide, from London’s Royal Opera House to festivals in Russia, Latvia, Middle and Far East and the US. His one-man show, Never Say Dai  enjoyed a successful run at London’s West End and in New York. These days, Arwel devotes his time to his  thriving singing studio, collaborating with leading choreographers, directors and coaches and as a vocal consultant visits various opera houses in Europe enabling singers to sing….and be themselves!
