Symphony of the Senses is a wonderfully unique experience that will appeal to anyone who enjoys music, wine, or both. It was a rare combination of a delectable selection of wines paired with beautifully sung arias, enjoyed in a convivial atmosphere and set in a stunning church. Entertaining and educational, high-brow but approachable, it is a fantastic and memorable way to spend an evening.

I would just like to comment on a unique experience I was lucky to partake in. The concert and wonderful aperitifs and canapés was a sheer delight. They all complimented one another beautifully in an unforgetable evening. I was very lucky to experience such a unique evening the musical offering was varied and stimulating. Having the wine expert explain the varieties we tasted was really interesting too.

“Everything about the evening was intoxicating and magical: the ambience, the sublime music sung and performed in close-up, the fascinating discussion of the wines and canapés: these all melded into an experience even greater than the sum of their parts. Factor in the conviviality of going with friends and you will have a truly unforgettable and unique experience.”
“It’s two weeks after the event and I’m still left with a primeval sense of magic and beauty. I’m pretty sensible and don’t do drugs so I guess it must have been real!”

This was much more than just a music and fine wine-and-dining event: it was an exploration of the way the senses interact to modify the individual components and intensify the experience of the whole. Each piece of music and its accompanying wine, canape, lighting setting and material sensation were brilliantly imagined, expertly delivered and totally memorable. An adventure in synaesthesia making for a very special evening.

An amazing evening curated my Memories2Music. Five arias with five wines and five canapés chosen to go with the arias to complement them. Sensory overload in a beautifully lit church. An event to treasure and remember. I attended it with friends and family and it cured wonderfully my jetlag. An experience that I am keen to repeat.
